	Historic Philippi, West Virginia is famed for its Covered Bridge, the only two-lane covered bridge in the federal highway system.  The first land battle of the Civil War is commemorated in the annual "Blue and Gray Reunion" historical re-enactment. Mountaineer Mart is located adjacent to the covered bridge.
